I swear we are in bizzaro world. Remember the star trek epsiode when the two Kirks were swapped between dimensions and the "good Kirk" ended up in the bizzaro world with the Spock that had a mustache? Well the Republican party has completed its journey to the bizzaro world.
Which party stands for fiscal discipline, limiting the size of government and keeping it out of our personal decisions? Certainly not the GOP.
Republicans now are cranking out the largest deficit in history, ruining the dollar, and setting the stage for run-away interest rates. So much for fiscal discipline.
Now a man who has tried for over a decade to carry out the private wishes of his WIFE, has to deal with crusading right-to-life pandering politicians inserting themselves into a private matter. The right wing is perfectly willing to kill 15 year old mental cases if they commit a capital crime, but God help you if you want to die in peace and you trust your partner to effect your wishes...to say nothing of ending an unwanted pregnancy, or even conduct research on an abandoned embryo...
Are there any limits to the steps this party will take to assert its moral outlook on the country?
